Klaus Ludwig
Klaus Ludwig (born in 1949) was regarded as the “King of Touring cars”. He was twice DRM Champion (in 1979 and 1981) and twice DTM Champion (in 1992 and 1994). He experienced the pinnacles of his career with Ford (Zakspeed), with Porsche-Kremer, and later as a Mercedes-Benz works driver. He also became FIA GT Champion in a Mercedes in 1998. He won the 24-hour Le Mans three times in a Porsche (935 and 956) (1979, 1984 and 1985). He was at the starting line in Jägermeister colours in 1982 and 1983 (in the luckless Ford C 100 and in the Zakspeed Super Capri).
