PORSCHE 935 Turbo
The Max Moritz (Reutlingen) and Kremer (Cologne) teams each brought Jägermeister Porsche 935 Turbos to the starting line. The drivers were Manfred Schurti, Jacky Ickx and Helmut Kelleners (for Max Moritz) and for Kremer they were Bob Wollek, John Fitzpatrick, Jochen Mass, Rolf Stommelen and Axel Plankenhorn. In 1977 and 1978, the Porsche 935 delivered around 650 to 700 hp (depending on the boost pressure), and with the longest gear ratio (e.g. at Le Mans) it reached 370 km/h. The Kremer-935s (K3, K4) delivered 800 hp and ran at 385 km/h.
